How to get Nusa Penida From Bali in Right way?
You have to choose a fast boat company and a particular port depending on where you are coming from in Bali and where you are going on Nusa Penida. In short, if you are coming from Kelungkung and Karangasem, your best option is to use Kusamba and Padang Bai as your departure ports.
If you come from Sanur, Seminyak, or Canggu, I suggest you depart from Sanur Beach. From Ubud, the two ports are both far away, so you can choose one of the two.
If you are planning to stay at Sampalan, Buyuk, Ped or Atuh Beach, choose Sampalan as your port of arrival in Nusa Penida. For Ped, Toya Pakeh or Crystal Bay, I suggest you choose Banjar Nyuh Port as your arrival port.
Boarding is much easier in Kusamba because this port offers floating pontoons. If you depart from Sanur you should wear shorts, as here you are boarding from the beach, in shallow water and sometimes in the waves.
